Owner and marketing director, Loree Jarrell, has 18 years of experience offering a broad spectrum of marketing and advertising services. She understands how to brand your company, feature your expertise, and drive qualified prospects to your firm.

In 2009, Ms. Jarrell joined Volkert, Inc., an ENR 2018 Top 100 Civil Design Firm, that serves 13 sectors across engineering and environmental services. As a proposal coordinator, she prepared statements of qualifications for nationwide contracts and for local, state, and federally funded projects along the Gulf Coast. Ms. Jarrell worked closely with senior leadership to launch the firm’s Texas market where they won three $3.0M – $3.5M TxDOT prime contracts within the first ten months of establishment. She wrote copy for corporate brochures and newsletters, and served with colleagues to develop ads for ENR magazine. Her greatest satisfaction as a proposal coordinator was winning projects for the firm.

Prior to joining Volkert, Ms. Jarrell worked in Development & Alumni Relations at top-tier universities including the University of Virginia (U.Va.), Georgetown, and Vanderbilt. At U.Va., she managed more than 70 alumni chapters across the globe. Her ultimate objective was to convert inactive alumni into volunteers or donor prospects and share lead information with development officers. Among many ways to promote alumni chapters, she designed full-page, four-color ads for Virginia magazine (200,000+ readers). She produced newsletters, announcements, and invitations for speaker events featuring the University president and distinguished faculty.

Ms. Jarrell earned her B.A. in English Language & Literature at the University of Virginia. She volunteers with the American Red Cross and served with their Disaster Services Human Resources (DSHR) division in New York City following the 9/11 attacks. Today, she lives in Mobile, Alabama with her dog and three cats. When not working, she enjoys gardening and restoring her WW II-era bungalow home.
